Christopher J. Fox is a Washington State attorney. He grew up in Seattle and graduated   from Blanchet High School and the University of Washington.   He received his law degree in 1977 from the Willamette University School of Law in Salem, Oregon.

Mr. Fox practices law in Kirkland, Washington, emphasizing family law and settlement conference mediation.   In 1993, he was honored by his peers as the Washington State Family Law Attorney of the Year.   He is a frequent presenter at legal seminars and was one of the contributing authors of the Washington Family Law Deskbook.  Through Catalyst Publications, he has hosted numerous multi-disciplinary family law conferences.   His office is located at 50 16th Avenue, Kirkland, Washington 98033.

Early in his career, Mr. Fox saw a need to make information about family law more accessible to both the legal community and the general public.   This was the motivation in 1982 for founding Catalyst Publications, Inc.

Catalyst's first publication was the Washington Family Law Reporter (WFLR).  That quarterly publication, which continues to this date, was later supplemented with a website, an online edition (WFLR Update) and, most recently, a Washington Family Law Reporter blog.   The need for information is greater now than ever before.   Catalyst Publications is pleased to continue serving that need.
